Year 4 Class News - Mrs Bruni
We have had a busy start to term two. Just before the holidays, we had fun working with partners in creating towers from marshmallows and spaghetti. At the beginning of this term, we followed this experiment with another science challenge. The challenge was to innovate on the story of The Three Little Pigs. We had to create a playdough house for a little pig and waterproof it using appropriate materials. It was fun testing the inventions.
We have also had a visit from the Red Cross who spoke to us about what to pack in a pillowcase in an emergency. We have had coding lessons from Mrs Badcock and we have also created paintings using the technique of Dr. Bronwyn Bancroft. At the moment, we are learning to apply feedback to our writing to innovate on a story called The Tear Thief. We are looking forward to also testing our math skills on our mid-year math review paper and learning more our the role of our local council.
