Year 6 News - Mrs Kingshott & Mrs O'Brien

In Year 6 students have been working cooperatively in Visual Art to produce works of art that incorporate an element created and shared by their peers. Once the shared works of art were torn into strips, they were glued into a radiating pattern to form the background. Students then selected an animal they wanted to portray. Students used oil pastels to achieve striking effects for the animal's eyes and nose. Black and white paint was finally used to add detail and better define the animal's facial features.
