Year 3 News - Ms Riordan

Year three studied,"Living and Non-Living Things," in Science throughout Term 1.  Students had the opportunity to work with Mr Tim in the school garden.  As this was such a great success and the students thoroughly enjoyed being outside and getting their hands dirty we have decided as a class to continue to work with Mr Tim in the garden each Tuesday afternoon for a 15min block where 8 students participate in an activity. Students rotate so they all have the opportunity to participate. The students work in the garden planting, weeding and caring for this special area while developing our skills in teamwork, gardening, social communication skills, listening and following instructions.  Year three are enjoying this opportunity and you can see their enthusiasm and progress in the photos.  Thank you Mr Tim.
