Year 5 News - Ms Stuart
This term, Year Five students participated in the Global Reality Meal. We learnt about how the world's wealth is unevenly distributed with about 55% of the world's population living in poverty. A rich discussion followed and students were filled with a greater understanding of the problems of global hunger and poverty. In week three we had an opportunity to 'buddy up" and read with the Year one students, which was thoroughly engaging and enjoyable for both classes.
