Wow! Preppies have done it! They have taken that enormous jump from a perfectly play-based Kinder introduction into the Prep classroom, which is the very beginning of their long formal school journey.They have learnt to be engaged by following directions, listening to lessons, responding on whiteboards and staying seated. They have learnt to be responsible by entering the classroom on their own each morning to unpack their belongings, collect their book boxes and begin their morning work, and take care of their belongings. They have learnt to be respectful by learning about Jesus and prayer and how important manners are. They have also learnt about how their upstairs and downstairs brain works to regulate their feelings and solve friendship fires. We look forward to more extraordinary growth and learning adventures as the year continues.
