P&F Movie Night
Last Friday, our fabulous P&F committee organised a Movie night for families in our school hall. Families brought along bean bags, camp chairs, blankets and pillows. They enjoyed hotdogs, pop corn and drinks as well as icecreams. Thank you to our P&F for organising another successful community event.
Year 6 Camp
Recently, our Year 6 students attended a three-night camp at Blue Lagoon at Dodges Ferry. During their time away, they participated in a variety of activities in Hobart and the surrounding areas before returning home. We are extremely proud of our Year 6 students, who consistently demonstrated excellent behaviour and showed respectful manners wherever they went. The students and staff had an amazing time. Thank you to Kurt Atkins and Tameka Harris for organising the camp, as well as Wil Randl, Melissa Marshall, Tameka Harris and Josh Burns for supervising the students during the camp.
Uniform Transition
As we begin Term 4, students are required to transition into the Summer uniform. St Patrick’s is a proud member of the Cancer Council’s SunSmart Program, which means sun protection measures must be in place from September through to April. As part of this, students have been reminded to start wearing their hats during recess and lunch break and other outdoor activities. Please ensure your child has transitioned to the full summer uniform when we return in term 4. The Summer uniform is available at Midfords in Devonport. Purchases can also be made online.
