Year 6 News - Mr Randl
On the 8th of September, our Year 6 class went to school camp where we did numerous activities such as: Parliament, Archery Tag, Movie Night, Museum, Tree Tops High and Low Ropes, Go Karts, Zoo Doo, having Marty visit us and lead us in activities and the Lolly Shop. These activities were a vital part of our camp and everybody enjoyed participating in these activities. We all decided that these were the top 5 moments on camp:
1. Go Karts, especially when some of us recorded faster times than Mrs Harris, but unfortunately not faster than our teacher Mr Randl aka "Wild Wilderbeast".
2. Tree Tops, especially the high ropes and ziplines.
3. Archery Tag, especially getting to fire and hit Mr Randl and Mr Burns and our friends.
4. Parliament especially listening to politicians debate and argue. We were also made to feel special as the politicians waved to us when we were in the public gallery.
5. The Bus Ride itself. Our bus driver, Peter aka "Woody," even stated that we were the best group he has ever taken on an excursion. We are pretty thrilled about this.
We would also like to thank the many teachers/staff who took time away from their families to aid us on our adventure as well as our parents who put in money for us to go to such an amazing camp. We would also like to thank all the volunteers and paid employees at each of our venues. All of these venues kept telling us how wonderful we were and we were so thrilled to get this feedback. Finally, we would also like to thank all the people who helped organise the camp and the P&F for giving us $50 each to spend on camp. We created some awesome memories we will never forget!!
