The Parents & Friends met last Wednesday 7th August to discuss some upcoming fundraising ideas. Thank you to Kirrilly Jones, Carley Padman, Julie Dewrance-Milligan, Sarah Youd & D'arne Adams for attending.
P&F information will be communicated to families via Compass our school newsletter and our Facebook page.
If there are any suggestions that the school community would like to put forward to the P&F please come along to one of our meetings or you can contact one of the above members for it to be discussed at the next meeting. Please keep in mind, that the Parents and Friends Association is focussed on fundraising, events, and volunteering time to help out when required.
Some of the upcoming events that were discussed at Wednesday's meeting are:
- Pie Drive Fundraiser - orders are now open (Qkr!) and will close on Thursday 29th August. Delivery Thursday 5th September.
- Fathers Day Celebration - Wednesday 5th September (details TBA)
- Colour Run Fundraiser - (held at Athletics Carnival Term 4 - date TBC)
- Christmas Soiree - Friday 6th December 5.00pm - 7.00pm
The next meeting is on the 23rd October at 3.00pm in the Staffroom. We hope to see some more new faces.
Could parents please refamiliarise themselves with our Uniform and Hair & Jewellery policies. We have noticed a decline in students wearing the correct uniform pieces that are outlined in our school policies. If for any reason your child is unable to wear their uniform please write a note in their diary.
Congratulations to the following students who have received Student of the Week.

Research shows that the first five years of a child’s life are critical for their development. The experiences they have can shape who they become as an adult. We realise the importance of these years and ensure that our SETUP sessions are full of play-based activities that allow children to investigate and learn in their own way.
Lots of time spent playing, talking, listening and interacting with you helps your child learn the skills they need for life. These skills include communicating, thinking, solving problems, moving and being with other people and children. That’s why our SETUP sessions allow children time for provocative play and exploring both on their own and with other children. We do offer arts and crafts, storytime, interactive games and activities as well as outside play.
Our sessions run every Friday from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m during school terms. Please bring a piece of fruit, a hat and drink bottle. Tea and coffee is provided for parents/carers. We hope to see you there!
